8	9	10	11	12	13	14 Solar Hatha Yoga Workshop Solar Hatha Yoga Workshop Starts: 1:00 pm Ends: September 14, 2024 - 3:00 pm Location: Thelesis Oasis, Ordo Templi Orientis, 1627 N 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19122, USA Description: Surya Kriya is a solar hatha yoga practice designed for bodily strength and balance and mental clarity and concentration. It is my personal go-to for morning practice and moving meditation. It is a medium-intensity practice, so come prepared for holding downward dog for decent periods and working the spine. No yoga experience is necessary. To quote the people who taught me: Surya Kriya is a potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity, designed as a holistic process for health, wellness, and complete inner well-being. Surya Kriya enables you to move towards a space within yourself and around yourself where circumstances are not in any way intrusive or obstructing the process of life. Bring your own yoga mat if you can, I will bring several extras with me though. It is ideal to not eat within 4 hours of the practice and not drink water within 1 hour.
