Thelesis Lodge was first conceived at the Equinox ritual meeting at Tahuti Lodge in NYC on Wednesday, the 22nd of March 1995 e.v. The lodge was founded one cold winter's night - Friday, the 12th of January 1996 e.v. in the Valley of Philadelphia. The Encampment was soon chartered as an official body of the Order on the Vernal Equinox, 1996 e.v. which was celebrated by the performance of the Great Rite of Ra Hoor Khu-it at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia. Thelesis was granted an Oasis Charter by the Electoral College of the OTO in October 2005 and it's Lodge Charter April 2008.
